This is a true full-cycle recruiting position responsible for managing a high volume of requisitions with rapid turnaround expectations, while maintaining exceptional quality of hire. This individual must operate with a hunter mindset—consistently sourcing, headhunting, and building talent pipelines rather than relying on inbound applicants. Success in this role requires a proven ability to identify, engage, and close both active and passive candidates across a diverse mix of blue-collar and white-collar roles.The ideal candidate brings demonstrated experience recruiting for hard-to-fill, niche positions, particularly within the power generation or related industrial sectors. Deep industry knowledge is essential, along with an established network and robust pipelines that enable “plug-and-play” placements with minimal ramp time. This role demands strong stakeholder management, the ability to prioritize under pressure, and a relentless focus on delivering results in environments where hiring needs are urgent, complex, and business-critical.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that being with the word “May.”)Collaborates with the Talent Acquisition Manager to develop a recruiting strategy for assigned projects.Owns and executes full cycle recruiting across a high-volume requisition load, from intake through offer acceptance, with consistent speed, accuracy, and quality.Builds and sustains respectful, mutually beneficial relationships with Hiring Managers, demonstrating a strong service-oriented mindset and serving as a liaison between hiring manager and candidate to understand hiring goals, priorities, and needs.Adheres to company-specific talent acquisition metrics and goals.Creates and manages requisitions, assesses job specifications, identifies screening questions, and determines candidate interview approaches.Proactively sources passive talent using a variety of channels (direct outreach, networking, market mapping, referrals, and industry groups).Builds, maintains, and continuously refreshes the talent pipelines to support immediate and future hiring needs, with a focus on “plug-and-play” candidates.Screens applicants, assesses their skill level/fit for roles, and routes them appropriately.Builds and maintains working relationships with schools to develop a pipeline of employees and provide educational support for internal programs.Attends and actively participates in career fairs, sourcing events, and projects.Maintains and processes employee data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) of current HRIS to track candidates and job stages.Manages multiple competing priorities and requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Ensures an efficient, high-touch candidate experience while maintaining rapid turnaround times.Negotiates offers, close candidates effectively, and anticipate/mitigate potential fall-off risks.Uses innovative sourcing strategies and recruiting processes to improve speed, quality, and scalability.Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.POSITION REQUIREMENTSMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.Must be at least 18 years of age or older.Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).Daily, in person, predictable attendance in The Woodlands, TX with frequent overtime as business necessitates.Valid U.S. Driver’s License required. Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3 year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVELU.S. High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education, specialized training, and relevant professional experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree.3-5 years of human resource management and/or progressive talent acquisition experience required.Power Generation and/or Electric Fracing candidates will be prioritized.Paycom experienced highly desirable.Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIESHigh proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting within a fast-paced, high-volume, and deadline-driven environment.Demonstrated success sourcing and headhunting passive candidates, with a strong track record of filling hard-to-fill and niche roles.Experience recruiting across both blue-collar and white-collar roles, including skilled trades, technical, engineering, and corporate functions.Ability to exhibit resilience with the expertise to challenge & influence stakeholders at all levels to continuously improve candidate & hiring manager experiences.Established network and active pipelines that enable rapid candidate identification and placement.Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of securing top talent in competitive markets.Ability to recruit across a diverse portfolio of roles, including both blue-collar (skilled trades, field, operations) and white-collar (engineering, technical, corporate) positions.Ability to lead with data and possess the ability to make data-driven decisions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Excellent organizational skills, demonstrating keen attention to detail.High level of accountability and ownership in a high-stakes environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENTThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
