This leadership role is responsible for overseeing evening janitorial operations, supporting and supervising cleaning staff, and ensuring all assigned facilities are maintained to company and client standards.The Swing Shift Lead Janitor will perform inspections, conduct routine audits, assist with employee training and retraining, and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation procedures. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead by example in fast-paced environments including office spaces, laboratories, GMP areas, and critical environments.Additional responsibilities include:Supervising and supporting janitorial team members during swing shift operationsConducting quality inspections and corrective follow-upsAssisting with scheduling and shift coordinationResponding to client requests and maintaining excellent customer serviceTraining and coaching employees on cleaning procedures and safety protocolsMaintaining inventory and reporting supply needsCompleting inspections and operational audits at additional client sites throughout the Bay AreaCommunicating effectively with management, clients, and field staff to ensure operational successQualificationsExperience in janitorial services, housekeeping, or facility maintenancePrevious leadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong understanding of cleaning procedures, safety standards, and sanitation practicesExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to train, coach, and motivate team membersStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple responsibilitiesReliable transportation and willingness to travel to various Bay Area client sites for inspections and auditsExperience working in laboratory, cleanroom, GMP, or critical environments is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCompensationPay: $26.00 – $27.00 per hourFull-time positionOpportunities for growth and advancement within the company
