Production HeavyJob Type: Full-Time Location Type: Onsite Primary Location: Jackson, Missouri, USGENERAL RESPONSIBILITY: This position is responsible for ensuring that wire shelving is racked efficiently onto and off the paint line. It is also responsible for packaging painted shelving.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Place shelving pieces onto racks.Remove painted shelving pieces from racks onto pallets.Pack bundles of shelving units for shipping.Cutting boards make boards for pallets to place product onto during packing.General housekeeping/sweeping of work area.Comply with the quality control process.Comply with all rules and regulations, including safety.Maintain order of the work area.Other duties, as assigned.CLIMATE/JOB ENVIRONMENT: Manufacturing Must be able to lift/carry 60 pounds constantly (67-100% of the time or over 500 times/day.) Position requires pushing a maximum force of 97 pounds. Employee's position requires pulling a maximum force of 97 pounds.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Attained at least a "meets standards" on most recent performance evaluationMust have good communication skillsPass background check and drug screen (if an external candidate)Pass applicable WorkSteps Physical testingAbility to work in the United StatesBasic verbal and written understanding of the English language
