SummaryThis position cares for patients before, during and after their electrophysiology procedure, including Pacemaker, ICD, CRT, Leadless devices and SVT, AFIB, AV node, Aflutter, VT PVC ablations, lead extraction and Watchman procedures. This includes pre-procedure assessment, pre-medication, documentation of procedural process, post-procedure care and patient education.$15,000 Sign-On Bonus Available*ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:(25%)*Performs nursing care of the device implant, ablation, lead extraction and watchman patients(25%)* Assisting with scrubbing, circulating cases and sterically dropping supplies on procedural tray(25%)* Records all pertinent information appropriately the EMR(25%)* Managing operating systems, equipment and supplies (Cardiolab, Micropace, Claris)Certifications and LicensuresCredential: RN: Registered NurseEquivalent Experience: Knowledge of nursing technique as normally acquired through completion of an associate's degree in nursing culminating in licensure as a RN. ACLS certified. May require frequent postural changes such as stooping, kneeling or crouching.Some exposure to blood borne pathogens and other potentially infectious material.
