If so, we've got the perfect opportunity for you!Position Overview:As a Loan Officer at Northrim Bank, you'll play a crucial role in managing and growing a diverse portfolio of commercial loans, working with businesses to secure the financial support they need to succeed. You'll be the face of our bank in the community, building relationships with both new and existing clients while ensuring we maintain the highest standards in asset quality. If you thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, this is the job for you!Key Responsibilities:Business Development: Generate new business and loan relationships through proactive calling efforts and strategic referrals.Loan Evaluation: Review loan requests, conduct in-depth credit analysis, and present recommendations for approval or denial in line with Northrim's policies and regulatory guidelines.Portfolio Management: Ensure all loans remain in compliance with bank agreements, maintaining low delinquency levels and safeguarding the health of your portfolio.Loan Restructuring: Monitor and manage loan performance, including resolving delinquencies and restructuring loans as necessary.Customer Focus: Build strong customer relationships, assess their needs, and recommend the right financial products.Learning & Development: Engage in ongoing training to stay ahead of industry trends and enhance your skills.Community Engagement: Represent Northrim at community events, trade shows, and outside functions, helping strengthen our ties within the local business community.Government Guarantee Loan Specialist Responsibilities:SBA/USDA Loan Expertise: Facilitate and guide government-backed business loans through the entire process, from application to closing.Compliance & Monitoring: Ensure all government guarantee loan requests are compliant with applicable regulations, monitoring changes to stay ahead of SOP updates.Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Military experience? We value that too!Experience: At least 3 years in financial services, with 1+ year of direct lending experience. Small business lending experience is a big plus!Communication Skills: You're a natural communicator, both written and verbal, with a knack for explaining complex financial terms in simple ways.Analytical Mind: You're a pro at interpreting financial data and making sound, data-driven decisions.Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and standard office equipment.Why Northrim Bank?
