Valet Attendant Prairie Band Casino & Resort offers an attractive benefits package including medical (casino pays over 70% of premiums), Dental (casino pays 79% of premiums), and Vision. Valet Attendants are responsible for the safety of customers vehicles at all times.Essential Duties And Responsibilities:Provides superior customer service, positively interacts with customers and Team Members; has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and has the ability to work harmoniously with co-workersSafely park and retrieve vehicle, follow key handling procedures, and follow all safety guidelinesCompletes vehicle inspections including checking for damage and recording vehicle details on claim ticketKeep valet area clean, organized, and presentable at all timesAccommodate guests by opening doors and assisting with luggage or other heavy itemsAssists with traffic flow and ensure the safety of the parking areaAnswers the telephone and takes messages as appropriate, adheres to proper telephone etiquetteMaintains key control within departmentKnowledgeable of all hotel amenitiesAdheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the sameFunctions as Bell Person as needed or requestedOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, And Experience:Required:Must have a valid driver's licenseMust qualify for company insurance coverageNo major violations, (DUI, reckless driving, driving on suspended), no combination of 3 or more at fault accidents and/or chargeable moving violations during the last 3 yearsMust be at least 18 years of ageExperience in driving both automatic and standard type transmission vehiclesWork varied shifts, including weekends and holidaysMust have excellent verbal communication skillsProfessional appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member HandbookMust be able to work independently and function as a member of a teamA record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employmentPreferred:High School graduate or equivalentPhysical, Mental, And Environmental Demands:Must be able to frequently stand, walk or sit for long periods of timeMust be able to frequently climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reachMust have close visual acuity in order to operate equipmentMust be able to work outdoors under conditions ranging from extreme hot to extreme coldAbility to lift up to 50 lbs (golf bag) and frequently up to 20 lbs using proper lifting techniquesIndian Preference Exercised
