Electrical Foreman

This is a working foreman position - hands-on. 45+50 hours a week.$60/hr+ based on experience. Per diem if 60+ miles from Cedar Rapids, IA. $145 on days worked.Key ResponsibilitiesSafety: Promote a strong safety culture; ensure compliance with all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and company/client standards. Conduct JHAs, inspections, and incident reporting.Technical: Apply strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards; troubleshoot issues efficiently. Use tools like Procore, BIM, and Microsoft platforms to manage work and documentation.Planning & Scheduling: Support project planning, maintain schedules, and coordinate a rolling 2-week lookahead with other trades.Resource Management: Track progress, control costs, and manage materials, equipment, and labor to avoid delays.Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop field teams; set clear expectations, enforce policies, and address performance or conflicts.Communication: Provide timely updates to team members, leadership, and stakeholders; respond to RFIs, changes, and issues.Quality Control: Ensure all work meets quality standards through regular inspections and team training.Qualifications5+ years of electrical experience or equivalent trade education and trainingOSHA 10 certificationActive electrical license (Journeyman preferred/required based on scope)Valid driver's license (preferred)SkillsStrong leadership, communication, and teamwork skillsSolid understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and construction documentsResults-driven with a focus on continuous improvement
