Based in Herndon, VA, this is a high-impact role where you will define cloud strategy, guide architectural evolution, and help modernize mission-critical systems that support the safety and efficiency of the nation's airspace.As a senior technical leader, you will drive cloud adoption across complex federal environments-ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and compliant with federal standards. Your work will directly support the evolution of the National Airspace System, ensuring it is ready for future demands while maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, and reliability.#BNATCSQualificationsRequired Qualifications:US Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearanceMinimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhDDeep expertise in hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GovCloud) and cloud migration and application modernization strategiesStrong knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks (FedRAMP, RMF, NIST 800-53) and Zero Trust Architecture principlesExperience supporting large-scale federal or DoD programsBackground in mission-critical or safety-critical systemsDemonstrated success leading cross-functional engineering teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience with FAA or National Airspace System (NAS) programsFamiliarity with teal-time systems and low-latency architecture and edge computing in operational environmentsBackground in network architecture (SD-WAN, secure transport) and AI Ops and observability platformsDetailsTarget Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
