Trojan values the integrity of our business relations, the quality of our deep-cycle technology, reliability of our products and services, as well as the professional growth of our team members.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesComply with all safety requirements and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Understand and practice the Quality policyLoads raw materials into machinesManually on and off bears materials from/to machinesOperates cork spraying machineDross ladle and pot when neededPerforms visual inspections for quality and quantity, makes minor adjustments to correct problems under supervision.Assist team members in maximizing productionBe familiar with all grid types, proper alignment on pallets and proper stacksMust also be sure to use only non-defective pallets or slip sheetsGenerally, meets minimum grid production requirements.Complete hourly CTQ data collector entryOperates a Forklift to move materialsIdentifies a variety of grid types Understand and follow Work InstructionsBe at work station on timeLeave work station on time, unless otherwise instructed by the Team Lead or SupervisorFollow and maintain Lean activities (5S, Housekeeping, etc.)Assist with mold and trim die changes Be at work station on timeLeave work station on time, unless otherwise instructed by the Team Lead/SupervisorAbility to work in a dynamic environment, and be able to handle challenging situationsAbility to work variable and flexible hours including overtimeAbility to be detail oriented, and sense of urgencyOther duties as assignedQualificationsRead, write and speak basic EnglishUnderstand specifications and labels associated with hazardous materialPerforms basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide)Ability to learn team skillsUnderstands CTQ & SPC – reads & understands charts and graphsForklift certificationEDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or greater.
