We're looking for a high-accountability leader who will take full ownership of safety and fleet operations across a growing, fast-paced home service business.This is not a sit-behind-the-desk role. You'll be in the field, responding to incidents, coaching teams, and holding the line on safety standards every single day.If you're looking for a low-pressure or purely administrative role, this is not it.What You'll OwnSafety Leadership & ComplianceLead and continuously improve all company-wide safety programsEnsure full compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable regulationsConduct regular job site visits, ride-alongs, and safety auditsDrive a culture of accountability, not just awarenessIncident Response (Critical Function)Serve as the primary point of contact for all injuries and vehicle accidentsOn-call 24/7 for incident response (outside of approved PTO)Lead investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actionsPartner directly with workers' comp carriers, adjusters, and insurance providersOwn all documentation, reporting, and follow-throughTraining & Risk ReductionBuild and deliver ongoing safety training programsIdentify unsafe behaviors and coach or correct immediatelyMaintain accurate reporting and safety recordsWork with leadership to enforce standardsFleet ManagementOversee performance, maintenance, and compliance of company fleetEnsure all vehicles are safe, operational, and inspection-readyManage preventative maintenance schedules and repairsTrack utilization, costs, and replacement planningSupport vehicle purchasing and upfitting decisionsTechnology & TelematicsManage GPS, dash cams, and driver monitoring systemsUse data to coach drivers and reduce riskBuild reporting dashboards for leadership visibilityWhat Success Looks LikeMeasurable reduction in workplace injuries and vehicle accidentsDecreased workers' compensation claims and insurance costsHigh engagement and completion in safety trainingImproved driver behavior and fleet efficiencyNon-Negotiable RequirementsExperience37+ years of leadership experience in field service, construction, or tradesDirect experience managing workplace injuries, accidents, and workers' comp claimsExperience with fleet operations or vehicle management strongly preferredStrong working knowledge of OSHA and safety complianceCapabilitiesComfortable handling high-pressure, real-time incident responseProven ability to hold teams accountable (not just influence)Strong investigative and problem-solving skillsHighly organized with strong follow-throughTech-savvy and able to learn systems quicklyWork ExpectationsPrimarily onsite and in the field (not a remote role)24/7 availability for emergencies (outside of PTO)Will require early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekendsExpected to be visible, hands-on, and engaged with field teamsWhy This Role MattersThis role directly protects our employees, our customers, and our reputation.
