As a Full Stack Engineer at OnePay, you will build simple and beautiful experiences for people's crucial daily interactions with their money, earnings, and pay schedules.What You’ll DoLead technical design and implementation for projects powering our @work platformSet architectural standards and ensure best practices in code quality, performance, and scalabilityPartner closely with product, design, and operations to shape and deliver @Work product strategyOversee optimization of systems for reliability, security, and scalabilityOwn technical decision-making, balancing rapid delivery and sustainable solutionsYou Bring7+ years of experience building and scaling distributed systems, high-throughput APIs, or data-intensive servicesSolid hands-on full-stack engineering skills, with proficiency in backend architecture and modern frontend frameworksExperience designing or working on reliable, secure, and high-performance systems -ideally in payments, EWA, or other regulated consumer finance domainsClear communication skills and a collaborative working styleInitiative and growth mindset - eager to learn and contribute as a team playerTools We UseWe use Node and TypeScript on the server, leveraging the NestJS framework within a microservice-oriented architecture running on Kubernetes and AWS. On the client side, we build and ship product features for iOS, Android, and web platforms using React Native. We also embrace AI-assisted development, so engineers have their choice of Claude Code or Cursor to fit their workflow.
