Job SummaryOur client is hiring a Senior Sourcing Specialist to own sourcing strategy for steel, fabricated components, and indirect spend. This role leads supplier negotiations, drives cost savings, and manages key supplier relationships within a manufacturing environment. This is a direct placement opportunity. Key ResponsibilitiesOwn assigned sourcing categories end‑to‑end (steel, fabrication, indirect)Lead complex bids, RFPs, and supplier negotiationsDrive long‑term cost savings using data and cost modelsMonitor market trends and adjust sourcing strategies accordinglyManage and maintain strategic supplier relationshipsSupport and mentor junior buyers or sourcing team membersUse ERP and sourcing tools to support procurement activitiesRequired Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s degree (business, supply chain, engineering, finance, or related)5–8 years of experience in sourcing or procurementBackground in steel, fabrication, or manufacturing environmentsStrong negotiation and supplier management experienceComfortable with data analysis, cost modeling, and ERP systemsNice to HaveAPICS, CPSM, CSCP, or similar certifications
