Job Overview: The CNC Programmer and Mold Maker will be responsible for setting up, operating, programming CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Working with CNC Programming Software to make 2D images to measurement to run on the CNC Machines.<li>Set up, operate, and program CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes, routers) to perform precision machining tasks.<li>Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.<li>Work with a variety of materials to produce precision mold components<li>Load raw materials and tooling into machines and monitor operations.<li>Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).<li>Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.<li>Maintain accurate production records and documentation.<li>Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize machining processes.<li>Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.</ul> Requirements:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent<li>3+ years of experience G-code or CNC programming in a manufacturing environment.</ul> Core Competencies: <ul><li>Familiarity with tight tolerance work<li>Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<li>Good communication skills and attention to detail.<li>Ability to stand for extended periods.<li>Exposure to noise, dust, and machinery in a shop environment.</ul> Preferences: <ul><li>Proficiency in reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments. <li>Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</ul> Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements: This position will be based at our St. Francis, WI facility.
