The company's solutions are scalable to meet the unique needs of hospitals and imaging centers and are accessible throughout the enterprise anytime and anywhere.POSITION OVERVIEWThe Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for operational accounting, managing/reconciling general ledger accounts, researching and resolving variances, preparing journal entries and preparing various spreadsheetsRESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for maintaining/reconciling certain general ledger accounts and researching and resolving variancesPrepare adjusting entries, accruals, and closing entries to maintain the accuracy, completeness and integrity of the accounting records and to facilitate an efficient accounting close processResponsible for maintaining certain processes documentationRun close process in NetSuite and post close reportsReview POs monthly for accruals and close POs when out of dateAssist with intercompany charges billed to other Canon entitiesAssist with gathering information for annual tax return preparationPrepare various financial reports for management and CanonAssist with forecasting and budgetingFile Annual ReportsCoordinate with Canon auditors as neededEnsure all activities are in compliance with Company's procedures for internal controlRepresent Finance and Accounting Department in cross functional projects as neededThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
