This role owns revenue and gross margin performance for both products and services and is accountable for meeting or exceeding annual budget and growth targets.This position requires strong cross-functional leadership to develop market-driven product and service strategies, establish competitive pricing models, expand recurring revenue streams, and ensure operational excellence through defined KPIs and service level agreements. The role collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Service, Legal, and global stakeholders to deliver profitable and competitive solutions across domestic and international markets.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESProduct ManagementServe as overall champion, evangelist, and owner of assigned product lines throughout their lifecycleManage the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning through tactical executionOwn product line revenue and gross margin performance, with accountability for meeting or exceeding annual budget and growth targetsDevelop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, improve margin contribution, and enhance overall profitabilityProvide sales and activity reports to leadership and other stakeholders as neededDevelop compelling value propositions and use case scenarios for sales teams, partners, and end usersAnticipate market and customer requirements through analysis of competitive landscape, customer feedback, and industry trendsDefine product requirements through market research, trade show participation, customer engagement, and collaboration with R&D and leadershipLead internal product launch processes and drive go-to-market activitiesDevelop and execute go-to-market plans in coordination with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and global stakeholdersMonitor and analyze revenue performance, margin trends, and cost structures; implement corrective actions to achieve budget objectivesBroaden product portfolio through strategic partner developmentParticipate in customer-facing meetings, technical discussions, and industry events as product expertSupport and lead RFQ and RFP responses, ensuring alignment with product capabilities, pricing strategy, service scope, margin objectives, and contractual requirementsDevelop strategies reflecting familiarity with international marketplaces, including regulatory considerations, competitive dynamics, and regional pricing strategiesServices Portfolio ManagementChampion and drive growth of assigned service offerings, including extended warranties, maintenance agreements, professional services, and solution-based offeringsOwn service-related revenue and gross margin performance, with accountability for meeting or exceeding annual budget and growth targetsDevelop and execute service strategies that increase recurring revenue, improve margin contribution, and support overall business profitabilityEstablish benchmark pricing for service offerings; develop pricing models aligned with market conditions, cost structures, and margin objectivesCreate, manage, and maintain service-related part numbers within ERP systems to support quoting, forecasting, order processing, and financial reportingEstablish benchmark service offerings; identify opportunities for new or enhanced services and partner with management to define business case, implementation scope, and execution plansPartner with Finance, Sales, and Service leadership to forecast revenue, manage budgets, and optimize service profitabilityDefine, monitor, and evaluate KPIs and SLAs to ensure services meet specified agreement levels; implement corrective actions as necessaryLead the creation, modification, and implementation of Statements of Work (SOW), ensuring alignment with scope, deliverables, service levels, financial objectives, and operational capabilitiesParticipate in review and negotiation of Master Service Agreements (MSA), service contracts, and related customer agreements to ensure alignment with service capabilities, risk mitigation standards, financial targets, and operational feasibilityCollaborate with Legal, Sales, Service, and Executive leadership on contract terms, scope clarification, performance commitments, and change management provisionsIdentify opportunities to expand attach rates, improve customer lifetime value, and strengthen customer retentionEnsure alignment between product roadmap and supporting service roadmap to maximize total solution revenue and long-term profitability QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 5 years of experience in product or brand management, including development and execution of product roadmap plans and successful launch of products and/or servicesDemonstrated experience managing revenue and gross margin performance, with accountability for meeting budget and growth targetsExperience establishing service offerings, pricing strategies, KPIs/SLAs, and contract-based solutions preferredDemonstrated experience preparing and supporting RFQ/RFP responses, including technical, commercial, and service componentsExperience working within international markets and cross-functional global teams preferredBachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferredStrong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to evaluate profitability, pricing models, and cost structuresAbility to drive projects to completion through proactive planning and stakeholder accountabilityExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectivelyAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems and Salesforce.com preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
