In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and hygienic. Change linens, make beds, replenish amenities, and restock supplies to meet guest expectations. Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining cleanliness in hallways and public spaces. Handle janitorial tasks efficiently by disposing of trash, cleaning windows, dusting surfaces, and maintaining storage closets. Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or damages and report issues promptly to ensure guest safety and comfort. Adhere to health and safety standards while using cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly. Support hotel operations by assisting with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping within a hotel or industrial setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and janitorial equipment operation. Previous hospitality or hotel experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for delivering excellent guest service is essential. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement or repair. Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts. Knowledge of safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment use is advantageous.
