Quality Control Laboratory Technician
Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented, team-focused Quality Control Laboratory Analyst to support testing and inspection activities in a manufacturing environment. This individual will analyze materials, ensure compliance with quality standards, and contribute to overall laboratory operations.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with established specifications and proceduresOperate and maintain laboratory equipment, including scales, pH meters, spectrophotometers, colorimeters, and centrifuges/rotorsPerform routine quality inspections within a manufacturing facilityInvestigate and help determine root causes of analytical variances or out-of-specification resultsReview and verify test results and accurately enter data into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)Support review of data generated by junior or entry-level analystsCollaborate with the quality team to perform instrument calibrations and method standardizationsFollow standard laboratory procedures to maintain equipment, reagents, solutions, and testing materialsMaintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environmentComplete all required laboratory training and safety programsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in a scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or related)Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environmentDetail-oriented with a professional and accountable approach to workBilingual is a plusPreferred ExperienceExposure to laboratory testing procedures and equipment calibrationFamiliarity with quality standards such as GMP, FSMA, or HACCPPrior experience in a manufacturing or food-related environment is helpful but not requiredWork Environment & LevelEntry-level role; no prior industry experience requiredHands-on laboratory and manufacturing floor environmentJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Totowa, NJ.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.RequirementsEligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
