Coiled Tubing Operator SupervisorThe Coiled Tubing Operator Supervisor will support the mobilization and de-mobilization of coiled tubing equipment and routine maintenance of equipment. They will also be responsible for the safe set up and operation of units and support equipment, including rigging up, rigging down, and movement of equipment from location to location and all operational aspects associated with pumping and operating CT unit. The CT Operator reports directly to the CT Manager for all daily functions.
Essential duties include ensuring that the correct people, equipment, and materials arrive on time on location, and are rigged up, tested, and ready to perform the job. Pre-job meetings must be held with personnel, client, and third-party personnel. Successful jobs must be executed as per the design provided and approved by the client. Risks associated with the operation must be recognized and reduced to as low as reasonably possible. All employees and contractors at the work site must be in compliance with safety standards and other relevant standards. Personnel assigned must be competent to drive and/or operate their assigned equipment. The service delivery process to the client must be accountable for. All required pre and post job paperwork and job tickets must be completed on time and without errors as per company policies. The assigned equipment must be operated and maintained while learning to operate and maintain additional equipment. Preventive maintenance on well site equipment must be performed. Units must be in safe, clean, and proper working condition for the next service job. Technical knowledge in design and evaluation must be maintained, working closely with the mentor. The client on location must be interfaced with to promote company image. The location must be helped in training less experienced employees. All other duties as needed must be performed. A positive attitude is required. Compliance and participation with all LRS and customer safety protocols and programs are mandatory. All aspects of pumping and coiled tubing operations must be learned and retained. The designated "Spill Champion" must be supervised while on the jobsite. All required paperwork must be completed accurately and timely. The Unit Operator technician must be managed and assisted in maintaining LRS Units. The position could require working "on call" with varying start/finish times. Safely driving in arctic and inclement weather conditions is necessary. Working knowledge and ability to use computers and radios as required for reports and communication are required. Working knowledge of wellhead valves, safety systems, and understanding the hazards associated with working with/around pressurized equipment is required. Willingness and ability to work in arctic conditions, extreme cold weather, slippery and uneven working surfaces, is required. Full understanding of all applicable safety, health, and environmental policies including Alaska Safety Handbook, Redbook Waste Management, LRSI SOP's, LRSI Safety Policy and Procedures Document, LRSI HSE Policy, and LRSI EMS Plan is required. Will not allow anyone in area during initial pressure test. Stop and question all unknown personnel entering area when pumping operations are taking place. Other duties will be assigned as needs require. Compliance with company and customer policies and procedures is required. Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations is required.
Required experience includes knowledge of fluid pumps and associated equipment, at least three (3) years of work experience in Coiled Tubing, including knowledge of how to correctly connect hydraulic hoses, equipment start-up, and engage of prime over fluid and hydraulic pumps, a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and a valid driver's license. North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification is required.
Preferred experience includes a valid Class A CDL, current Hazmat endorsement, current Medical DOT Card, five years of experience as a supervisor in the oil field, and current 40 hour well control training certificate.

Working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you. All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms. Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift. Wi-Fi and Internet is free and available within the camp. Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV/Theater Room, etc. Each facility will have its own accommodation and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.
