Job DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Plano, Texas.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Interventional Radiology TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelAssignment OverviewShift: Days, 5x8hrsHours: 40 hrs/wkStart Date: Mar 23, 2026Length: 13 weeksOpenings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and required neuro interventional and Level 1 or 2 trauma experience for a 13-week assignment in Plano, TX.DetailsInterventional Radiology department located on the A Tower 1st Floor of an acute care hospitalUnit consists of 3 suites staffed by 6 RNs and 4 technologists on day shiftProcedures include neuro interventional (thrombectomies, coilings, MMAs, spinal angiograms), IR body cases (G-tubes, biopsies, PCNs, Mediports, TIPS), and trauma angiograms (spleen, liver, GDA, renal)Equipment includes Philips biplane (x2) and single plane (x1) systemsEMR systems are Meditech and GE Centricity PACSDay shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PMOn-call average is 13 days per month, including 1–2 weekends per monthCall teams consist of 2 technologists and 2 nurses per dayNo floating requiredRequirementsMinimum 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology experience; allied candidates must have active experience within the last 6 monthsNeuro interventional experience requiredLevel 1 or Level 2 trauma experience requiredARRT certification requiredVI registry preferredMeditech EMR experience preferredPhilips equipment experience preferredLicense required if applicableUS SSN and DOB required for considerationProfessional reference required (2 references required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 monthsAdditional InformationPerform neuro interventional procedures, IR body cases, and trauma angiograms in a fast-paced interventional radiology settingIdeal candidates are team players who are adaptable to varying physician preferences and comfortable with call responsibilitiesSteel grey scrubs requiredCandidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be consideredAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-681886.
