After training is completed, the role will transition to in-office attendance once per month.About The RoleOur firm is partnering with a leading, global logistics and transportation organization to hire an Associate Operations Coordinator. This role supports day-to-day freight operations and plays a key part in ensuring shipments move efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with customer expectations. The position is well-suited for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating across teams, and delivering high-quality operational support.Job DescriptionThe Associate Operations Coordinator is responsible for executing operational tasks with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role supports shipment execution from order creation through delivery and invoicing, while following established policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited ToProvide shipment information to customers and internal partnersCreate and manage orders, activate shipments, build and assign loadsSchedule pickup and delivery appointmentsTrack and trace shipments to ensure on-time performanceEnter shipment events and complete invoicing tasks in operational systemsMonitor task boards and assigned email inboxes to respond to customer and carrier inquiriesDocument shipment events using SOPs and on-the-job experienceFollow established escalation procedures and training guidelines when issues ariseFollow through on customer and carrier requests to ensure satisfactionValidate and maintain accurate load data in systems according to company and customer standardsPerform additional duties as assigned based on team or country-specific requirementsQualificationsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDPrevious customer service experienceAbility to work evenings and/or weekends (for select roles)Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsPrevious customer service experience in a call center or similar environmentStrong communication, prioritization, and time management skillsPrior experience requiring attention to detail and accuracyCommitment to and appreciation for a diverse and inclusive work environmentBenefitsDahl Consulting is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees that will allow you to choose the best coverage to meet your family’s needs.
