Mechanical Quality Inspector Yulista Integrated Solutions LLC is seeking a Mechanical Quality Inspector for a (Day Shift) position. Alternate every three months on 3x12's. Regular hours are Mon-Wed 6:30am-6:30pm. Shift alternates every three months to Thurs-Sat 6:30am-6:30pm.PRIMARY FUNCTION: Yulista is a fast-paced government contractor specializing in high-mix, low volume manufacturing. Mechanical Quality Inspectors perform detailed mechanical inspection of products for compliance to the technical data package via in-process, finishing and final inspection phases.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Ability to read and interpret complicated drawings, specifications, purchase orders, statement of work and standards to determine quality statusUse precision measuring instruments to confirm dimensional compliance.Ability to perform GD&T measurement to verifying the compliance of complex detailed or completed components and/or assemblies of aircraft and/or ground support vehiclesBe able to determine acceptance, rejection of materials presented for inspection and performing non-conformance reporting.Perform AS9102 First Article Inspections.Good organizational skills and utilize Microsoft Office software to accurately document and maintain associated paperwork and inspection results in a consistent and timely fashionFamiliarity with various specifications applicable to Defense productsIdentify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities for the quality program for customers internal and externalSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibility.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:Proficiency in GD&T (ASME Y 14.5)Functional usage of surface plate and mechanical/optical inspection equipment to perform 3D inspection.Experience in AS9100/ISO9000 environments (NADCAP a plus)Maintain Certifications as required to perform duties.Analyze test data, making computations as necessary, to determine test results.QUALIFICATIONS:Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security ClearanceFour (4) years Quality experience preferred, minimum of four (4) years working with standards, policies, and regulatory requirements (Government and/or Commercial).This position requires a minimum of a High School diploma/GEDPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (1 or more):Familiarity with programmable inspection equipment such a Zeiss CMM (Calypso), Vision Inspection equipment, and FARO/Roamer Arm technologyFamiliar with CNC or other common manufacturing techniques.Finishing Inspection of CARC paint system, MIL-DTL-5541chemical conversion, Anodizing and plating.Certified AWS welding inspectorComposite Material InspectionPREFERENCE STATEMENT: Preference will be given to Calista shareholders and their descendants and to spouses of Calista shareholders, and to shareholders of other corporations created pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, in accordance with Title 43 U.S. Code 1626(g).EEO STATEMENT: Additionally, it is our policy to select, place, train and promote the most qualified individuals based upon relevant factors such as work quality, attitude and experience, so as to provide equal employment opportunity for all employees in compliance with applicable local, state and federal laws and without regard to non-work related factors such as race, color, religion/creed, sex, national origin, age, disability, marital status, veteran status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, citizenship, genetic information, or other protected status.
