It's one way that makes us an actively engaged team, inspired to win together.Summary: This position operates various pieces of equipment to fabricate materials (Punch, Plasma, Ficep, Saw, Drill, Bridgeport, Tap, Pipe Tap) per specifications in conjunction with customer quality requirements and United Alloy manufacturing philosophies. Monitoring machine performance and efficiency are essential.Shift: 6:00am-2:00pm Monday-Friday (OT as required)What You'll Do:Must be able to set up and run in all fabrication work areasUnderstand how to manage daily work expectations and goalsUnderstand, interprets, and follows foreman's report including priorities and start datesUnderstand how to read material sheet tags and determines material types and gaugesUnderstand cross check concepts and inspects product according to Inspection Control PlanFollow all safety policies and standardIs capable and willing to train other employeesUnderstand non-conforming process according to SOP-0003Maintain accurate and timely system transactionsCan inspect and clean equipment including all preventative maintenanceInspect own work for quality standardsOther duties may be assignedWhat You'll Bring:The individual must have exposure to metal fabrication concepts and processesOn-the-job training will be provided for new operators regarding safety procedures, how to use the machines and how to operate the computer program.Must possess the ability to operate overhead cranes, tape measure, caliper, basic hand tools and air toolsStrong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skillsMust be able to read and interpret blueprintsHave completed forklift certification training with safety team to operate a forkliftCan record time accurately including "time and attendance" and "labor reporting" using the data collection systemMust be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds with an assistExpected Behaviors of Actively Engaged Person 100% Responsible, Trustworthy, Team Player, Clear Communicator, Empathy, Humility, Emotional Self-Control, Resolves Conflict Directly, Positive Attitude, Respects Others, Problem Solver, and AgileBenefits: In addition to excellent starting wages, we offer a competitive compensation and benefits package as well as numerous perks.
