We only accept direct applications.Job Title: Mechanical Skid AssemblerLocation: Duncan, SCSchedule: 1st ShiftEmployment Type: Full TimeJob SummaryWe are seeking a Mechanical Skid Assembler to support fabrication and assembly of mechanical skids and piping systems. This role is responsible for assembling sub-components and installing pipe spools onto skids while ensuring alignment with drawings, quality standards, and safety requirements.The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical experience, is comfortable using tools and equipment, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced fabrication environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical sub-assemblies and components onto skids using hand tools and power toolsInstall and secure pipe spools to mating equipment and componentsPerform drilling, tapping, bolting, and general mechanical assembly tasksRead and interpret basic assembly drawings and instructionsEnsure proper alignment and fit-up of components prior to final installationOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move components and assembliesAssist with loading, positioning, and securing materials during assemblyVerify materials and components match job requirementsMaintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with shop standardsFollow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and hazard identificationReport any safety concerns, damaged materials, or quality issues to supervisionSupport production goals by completing work efficiently and accuratelyParticipate in daily production (POD) meetings as requiredAdditional DutiesAssist other departments as needed to support production flowPerform basic equipment and tool checks to ensure proper operationSupport continuous improvement and efficiency effortsRequired Qualifications2+ years of mechanical assembly or fabrication experienceExperience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devicesAbility to perform drilling, tapping, and bolting tasksAbility to follow instructions and work from drawings or printsBasic computer or tracking system familiarity preferredPreferred QualificationsExperience in pipe fabrication or skid assemblyForklift experience or certificationAbility to read isometric or mechanical drawingsTeam Support & CollaborationWork closely with fabrication, welding, and planning teamsSupport efficient workflow and communication across departmentsContribute to a safe, productive, and team-oriented environmentWhy Join UsStable workload supporting ongoing fabrication projectsStrong emphasis on quality, organization, and teamworkOpportunity to work across multiple departments in operationsCompetitive pay and benefitsWhy Join Us?We’re committed to attracting talented individuals who seek a company with a strong foundation of success and an outstanding culture.
