Bartender

Bartender We're looking for a skilled, guest-focused bartender to join our team. In this role, you'll craft quality drinks, deliver attentive service, and help create a welcoming experience for every guest who sits at our bar. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including craft cocktails, to established recipe and presentation standards Greet guests, present menus, and make personalized food and drink recommendations based on guest preferences Take food and beverage orders and coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery Verify customer identification to confirm legal drinking age and comply with all food and beverage service regulations Monitor guest alcohol consumption and serve responsibly in accordance with house policy and law Maintain a clean, organized bar area, including setting and clearing tables and workstations Track and restock bar inventory, liquor, and supplies to ensure smooth service Handle cash and card transactions accurately, including processing payments and tabs Deliver attentive, guest-focused service that creates a welcoming and memorable experience Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience working as a bartender required; experience in a high-volume or craft cocktail setting preferred Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks, including classic and craft cocktails Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to engage guests warmly and read their needs Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Strong organizational skills, including keeping the bar clean, stocked, and set up for efficient service Required certifications: CA Food Handler's Card and Responsible Beverage Server certification Pay: $17.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Experience: Bartending: 1 year (Required) Craft Cocktail Bartending: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Eureka, CA 95501 (Required) Work Location: In person
