This is an exciting contract-to-hire opportunity for a sonographer who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while working in a collaborative, quality-focused environment./nUnlike many high-volume imaging centers, this team prioritizes quality over quantity, allowing ample time for each patient and providing an environment where technologists can thrive professionally./nPosition Overview/nThe ideal candidate will be dual-certified in Echocardiography and Vascular Ultrasound and capable of independently performing a comprehensive range of diagnostic studies. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced physicians and imaging professionals while expanding your expertise within a highly respected cardiac and vascular program./nResponsibilities/n/n- Perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound examinations, including:/n/n- Resting Echocardiograms/n- Treadmill Stress Echocardiograms/n- Pharmacologic Stress Echocardiograms/n- Contrast Studies/n- Bubble Studies/n/n- Perform a variety of vascular ultrasound examinations, including:/n/n- Carotid Duplex/n- Upper & Lower Extremity Arterial Studies/n- Venous Duplex Studies/n- Abdominal, Renal, Iliocaval, and Mesenteric Duplex Exams/n- Plethysmography/n- Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) Testing/n/n- Provide accurate preliminary findings and complete clinical documentation./n- Support physicians during vein procedures, including ablations and other vascular interventions as needed./n- Ensure imaging quality meets IAC and ACR accreditation standards./n- Maintain patient safety while delivering exceptional customer service./n- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to deliver outstanding patient care./n- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and accreditation compliance efforts./nQualificationsRequired/n/n- Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)/n- Graduate of an accredited Cardiac and/or Vascular Ultrasound Program/n- Current BLS Certification/n- Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience performing both cardiac and vascular ultrasound studies/n- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision/nCertifications/nCandidates must possess:/n/n- ARDMS: RDCS and RVTOR/n- CCI: RCS and RVS/n/nCandidates with one cardiac or vascular credential are encouraged to apply but must obtain the second credential within 12 months of hire./nPreferred/n/n- Previous outpatient or ambulatory imaging experience/n- Strong communication and patient education skills/n- Experience working in a collaborative physician practice/nWhy You'll Love This Opportunity/n/n- Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends/n- Competitive $50–$55/hour pay/n- Contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term career potential/n- Patient-focused environment averaging 8–10 patients per day/n- Generous 30–60 minute appointment times to prioritize quality care/n- Collaborative team culture with experienced physicians and imaging professionals/n- Opportunity to expand your skills in cardiac imaging, vascular diagnostics, and procedural support/n- Modern outpatient setting dedicated to clinical excellence and patient satisfaction/n/nIf you're a dedicated Cardiac & Vascular Sonographer looking for a rewarding opportunity with a supportive team and outstanding work environment, we'd love to hear from you.
