Details Long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital setting Assignment is 13 weeks in duration Day shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts) Every other weekend required Unit: Chronic Care (LTAC/Telemetry) Requirements Active Indiana RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only; RCIS and RQI certifications are not accepted) Minimum 2 years of recent LTAC or telemetry RN experience in a hospital setting Vent and trach experience required Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date SSN and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Responsible for shift accountability and delivery of patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with the Indiana Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies Demonstrates critical thinking and leadership in planning for safe patient care delivery Delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Prior work at any Kindred Hospital facility (permanent or contract) must be disclosed American Traveler Job ID P-686403.
