Alpha Inc. is seeking a decisive and mission-driven Head of Security to lead all aspects of on-site and off-site security operations across our properties. This role is vital to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our staff, guests, and infrastructure. You'll oversee daily patrols, manage electronic and physical access systems, enforce compliance protocols, and respond swiftly and effectively to all potential threats and incidents.
As a high-visibility leader, you'll have the authority and accountability to implement protocols, train personnel, and maintain a state of readiness across all facilities and events. As Head of Security, you will lead all security operations across on-site and off-site properties. Your core responsibilities include:
Daily Patrols & System Oversight: Conduct inspections, maintain surveillance and access systems, and ensure all security equipment is operational.
Guest & Event Security: Manage secure transportation, guest safety, and event access control.
Emergency & Incident Response: Develop preparedness plans, lead crisis response, and oversee investigations.
Compliance & Equipment Management: Enforce safety laws, manage firearms protocols, and maintain inspection records.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and evaluate security staff, ensuring full coverage and professional performance.
Financial & Departmental Oversight: Oversee department budget, expenses, and department-specific reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Reporting & Coordination: Deliver briefings to leadership and collaborate with local authorities and neighboring properties.
What You Bring
Minimum of 5 years of experience in military, law enforcement, or senior-level private security management, or an equivalent background
Demonstrated leadership in supervising staff and managing risk
CPR and First Aid certified; recent gun safety certifications preferred
Conflict de-escalation training or experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with security software, surveillance systems, and digital access control
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Physically able to lift 50 lbs, patrol on foot, and respond to emergencies
Strong attention to detail, situational awareness, and urgency
