Merchant Operations Associate
Job Title: Merchant Operations AssociatePosition Type: Contract (3 months to start, with strong possibility of extension; total contract length may extend up to 24 months)Location: Seattle, WA | New York, NYSalary Rate: $40–$45/hr (USD)Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented Merchant Operations Associate to support daily ecommerce operations across Beauty, Fashion, and Health categories on a leading social commerce platform. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role centered on merchandising accuracy, campaign readiness, SKU management, and operational quality.The ideal candidate will have prior experience in ecommerce operations, marketplace support, or digital retail environments, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage high-volume execution tasks in a fast-paced onsite setting.Responsibilities:• Support daily merchant operations across assigned sellers and product categories• Ensure product listings are accurate and complete, including titles, descriptions, pricing, and inventory levels• Review and approve SKUs in alignment with platform standards and operational guidelines• Identify listing errors, data inconsistencies, or setup issues and coordinate resolutions with merchants or internal teams• Ensure products are properly included in campaigns and promotional events• Validate campaign readiness, including stock availability and merchandising accuracy• Track execution status and proactively resolve issues that may impact campaign performance• Monitor inventory availability and flag stock risks for high-demand products• Maintain and update operational trackers, spreadsheets, and reports using Excel and internal tools• Follow established workflows and support continuous process improvement initiativesRequirements:• 1+ year of experience in ecommerce operations, marketplace support, merchandising, or digital retail operations• Bachelor’s degree or higher required• Advanced proficiency in Excel required for operational reporting, inventory tracking, and campaign execution support• Experience working with integrated system tools or SQL-based platforms preferred; coding not required• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage execution-heavy workloads with accuracy• Ability to work in a fast-paced onsite environment Monday through Friday• Experience supporting ecommerce platforms, online marketplaces, or DTC brand websites preferred• Background in product catalogs, inventory management, or campaign execution strongly preferred• Exposure to Beauty, Fashion, or Health product categories is a plusAbout Us:Founded in 2009, IntelliPro is a global leader in talent acquisition and HR solutions.
