General Maintenance Technician
CSS is seeking an experienced General Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance and repair operations at an industrial manufacturing facility in Grandview, MO. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working both independently and with a team.ResponsibilitiesPerform general facility maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, drywall, painting, flooring, and overhead doorsInspect buildings, equipment, and grounds and recommend repairs or improvementsComplete preventive maintenance and respond to emergency repair requestsSafely operate hand and power toolsDocument work, time, and materials using a CMMS systemMaintain organized inventory of parts, tools, and suppliesFollow all safety procedures, SOPs, and OSHA standardsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience in industrial or commercial maintenance experienceExperience in carpentry, plumbing, painting, and masonryStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyFamiliarity with MS Office and electronic work order systemsValid driver's license; ability to operate forklifts, man lifts, and boom liftsWillingness to be on-call and work evenings or weekends as neededPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50-100 lbsFrequent bending, climbing, using a ladder, and working at heights up to 35 feetComfortable working in an industrial environmentWhy Join Us?Stable, long-term opportunityHands-on, varied work-no two days are the sameSupportive team environmentEmployee-Owned Company with full benefits At CSS, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and merit-based workplace.
