Underground Utility Laborer

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team specializing in utility construction projects across Indiana/Kentucky. You'll assist with installing underground utilities such as pipes, conduits, cables, and underground facilities while ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role involves physical labor in outdoor environments, and we're looking for someone who can contribute to a strong team dynamic. Key Responsibilities: Perform manual labor tasks including digging trenches, backfilling holes, and compacting earth to prepare sites for utility installation. Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to job sites. Assist skilled crew members in placing underground pipes, conduits, fiber optic cables, and other utility infrastructure. Operate basic power tools and machinery (e.g., shovels, jackhammers, compactors) under supervision. Clean and maintain job sites, removing debris and hazards to ensure safety compliance. Follow construction plans, blueprints, and instructions from supervisors. Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing PPE and participating in safety meetings. Requirements: Valid state issued driver's license. entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic are welcome. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50-100 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
