Code Development and Test Engineer
Overview
In this role you will help validate and deploy the Digital Infrastructure for DoD networks within the DI-NIL, ensuring secure, compliant, and high-performance configurations. You will work on provisioning, automated test scripts, and V&V activities across Windows, RHEL, and other systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet DoD guidance. Your work directly supports production readiness and customer satisfaction while advancing DoD digital infrastructure programs. This position emphasizes hands-on testing, documentation, and stakeholder coordination in a mission-driven environment.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain and evolve the DI-NIL architecture and services, ensuring V&V testing from build to service deliveryDevelop automated tests and validation scripts to optimize OS performance and complianceConfigure and secure environments (Active Directory integration, least privilege access)Document code and process flows to ensure repeatability and auditabilityCollaborate with customers and stakeholders to configure environments and address security concernsProvide backup support within the DI-NIL effort and participate in integration and verification activities
Key requirementsUS citizen with Secret clearance, ability to obtain TS/SCIBachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 6+ yearsStrong knowledge of coding concepts applied to DoD programsExperience in design reviews and customer-centric inputEffective written and verbal communication with cross-functional teamsAbility to work with diverse disciplines and plan across system integration activitiesBasic networking understanding and ability to adapt code enterprise-wideMid-level understanding of government security testing (ACAS/Nessus) and remediationProven ability to brief technical and non-technical customersCommitment to high customer satisfaction and positive brand impactcustomer-centric collaborationcross-functional teamworkclear communicationcoding concepts for DoD programstest automation and result analysisnetwork topology knowledge
