Our culinary department prepares fresh, homestyle brunch and dinner daily for 100–130 residents, blending comfort, creativity, and care in every meal. Position Summary We’re seeking a friendly and reliable Server to join our culinary team at Vicinia Gardens Independent Living. This part-time position is ideal for someone with a positive attitude, great communication skills, and a heart for hospitality. Experience isn’t required—but it’s definitely a bonus! We’re looking for team players who take pride in creating a warm, enjoyable dining experience for our residents. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Take food and drink orders from residents accurately and with a positive attitude. Write orders on slips and communicate them clearly to kitchen staff. Engage with residents in a courteous and friendly manner. Demonstrate knowledge of the menu and make helpful suggestions. Use the POS system to accurately record and process orders. Ensure residents are enjoying their meals and promptly resolve any issues. Assist food preparation staff when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area. Education/Experience No experience required — training provided. Previous serving or hospitality experience is a plus. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, professional, and team-oriented with a positive attitude.
