North Shore Hebrew Academy - Position: Middle School Social Worker, Full-TimeThe North Shore Hebrew Academy (NSHA) is a co-educational Modern Orthodox Yeshiva that inspires students to become passionate learners, critical thinkers, problem solvers and dedicated community members.We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced School Social Worker to provide direct and indirect support services to students experiencing social, emotional, and/or behavioral challenges that interfere with their school performance.The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience collaborating with school staff, families, and community providers, and a passion for working in an Orthodox Jewish Middle School setting.Responsibilities:Provide individual and group counseling to students with various social, emotional, and behavioral needsDevelop and implement social and emotional learning programs to promote positive student outcomesCollaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environmentSupport families in addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns related to their childrenConduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and appropriate interventionsMaintain accurate and confidential records of student services and progressProvide crisis intervention services as neededSupervise all 504 and Special Education accommodations in collaboration with the GNPS Psychologist and Special Education TeacherProctor exams for students needing accommodations as neededIdeal Candidates will possess the following qualifications:Masters degree in social work, school counseling, psychology or related fieldA minimum of three years of social work experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSalary Range: $65,000-75,000Please email with a cover letter and resume indicating your interest and qualifications.
