Material Handler, 2nd Shift (2026-083)Astronics Subsidiary Atronics AESLocation Redmond, WADescriptionAstronics AES is seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Redmond, WA .This is an onsite position on 2nd shift, working Monday - Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. in the facility.JOB SUMMARYThe Material Handler will manually move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other general labor in relation to managing materials for the production line.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSStock and distribute products and materials in inventory warehouses and manufacturing linesPackage and prepare products and merchandise for the shipping clerk.Prepare and maintain records of items shipped (i.e. purchase orders, manual shippers, and work orders)Perform daily cycle countsPeriodically rotate in RECEIVING for cross trainingMay drive a non-CDL box truck for deliveriesOther duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Experience:High school diploma or GED requiredDemonstrates familiarity of job duties (typically 1-2 years of direct experience in the essential functions of the position)Competencies:Comprehension - Understand and apply information conveyed in written and oral methodsCommunication - Communicate information and ideas, written and verbal, so others will understandProblem Sensitivity - Tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
