Full Stack Developer (NodeJS / AWS Serverless)

Description: Spatial Front, Inc. (SFI), a two-time USAToday Top Workplaces awardee and Washington Top Workplaces honoree, is seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong backend and full-stack experience and recent NodeJS expertise to support mission-critical applications in an Agile environment. This role focuses on building, enhancing, and maintaining modern cloud-native systems with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and reliability. Primary Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain APIs within a serverless AWS environment Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, QA, and development teams Develop, test, and deploy high-quality, maintainable code using modern testing frameworks (Mocha/Chai) Improve system performance, scalability, and availability across complex applications Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and iterative development cycles Support ongoing feature enhancements, UI improvements, and system updates Requirements: Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required) 5+ years of backend and/or full-stack development experience Proficiency in NodeJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript Hands-on experience with AWS services, including: AWS Lambda API Gateway CloudFormation S3, SNS, SQS Experience with ElasticSearch Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Preferred Experience Experience supporting federal or government technology programs Additional Information: To meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, the candidate must be authorized to work in the United States Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (includes fingerprinting and background investigation) All candidates will be subject to a complete background check, including, but not limited to, Criminal History, Education Verification, Professional Certification Verification, Verification of Previous Employment, and Credit History.
