A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Semmes, AL, providing contract services for a school setting. This position involves working with students across grades K-12, supporting a caseload at two schools within close proximity, including an elementary school and private schools.Key Responsibilities:Deliver speech-language therapy services to K-12 students according to individual education plans (IEPs).Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to students' communication needs.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services and student progress.Participate in team meetings and professional development as required.Qualifications and Experience:Must hold current Speech Language Pathologist certification (CCC) and be registered with the Board of Speech Examiners.Candidates with pending Alabama Department of Education licensure will be considered.Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) in speech-language pathology.Strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills.Work Details:Location: On-site in Semmes, AL.Schedule: 35 hours per week.Contract Duration: March 2025 through May 29, 2026.Caseload consists of two school assignments.This role offers a supportive environment for delivering quality speech therapy services within the public and private school settings.
