We're the catalyst to better energy for you, your community and our planet.About the RoleAs a Booster Lead, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and managing operations processes and systems to ensure a high level of efficiency and Booster customer satisfaction. The role requires excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to lead a team of operations personnel.What You'll DoLeading and motivating the team's performance with the below responsibilities:Be an advocate of the team for Operations by implementing solutions and creating team buy-in.Validate Fuel Logs and BOL's.Review routes with leadership to set the team up for success.Be a champion of the Perfect Boost and complete field auditsTanker assignments, knowledge, and daily preparednessBe the team's first point of contact for escalations while maintaining a high level of performance in the fieldPay Range: $32-$38/hrUnderstanding of when to escalate & lead by Example:AttendancePositive ContributorOwnership and Bias for ActionPunctuality and follow throughSafety Training:Hazardous material handlingSpill mitigation and containmentTanker safetyObtain and maintain a valid:DOT medical cardHazardous Materials EndorsementTWIC CardTSA clearanceDOT physicalEmergency responseDefensive driving trainingOSHA regulations and standards that pertain to fuel delivery and tanker complianceLicenses and Credential:Possess a valid Class A, B, or C commercial driver's licenseTanker and Hazmat endorsements requiredAt least 12 months at Booster or 2 year prior commercial driving experience with fuel company4000+ fuelling hoursObtain a DOT physical, background check, and TSA clearance, TWIC card.Able to obtain access to Terminal/s for loading fuels.Carding requirements for appropriate customer fuelingPhysical Requirements:80 to 150+ individual vehicle fills per shiftConsistently be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs throughout the shift.Capable of high-volume repetitive body motion of getting in and out of tanker vehicles, under various weather conditions.Must be able to climb stairs repeatedly throughout the shiftAgility of hands and fingers to operate equipment such as fuel pump nozzles; constant pulling and reeling of hoses and equipment.Mechanical:An SP Lead can identify that something is wrong with my fuel tanker and understand how to describe the problem and who the issues need to be escalated to and what to do next e.g. Air compressor, PTO, Optimus not connecting, e-brake not set, Hydraulic systems, Pump systems, oil levels, metersAn SP Lead can troubleshoot exactly what is going on within the vehicle and escalateTechnology:Advanced knowledge of app based technology: Slack / Ipad / Kobra / Deputy (Scheduling system), Optimus.Advanced understanding of tablet/equipment use, wireless communication and routing/navigating apps.Additional Requirements:Meets SPII requirementsMastery of DOT rules and regulationsAdvance knowledge of Booster Policies and proceduresTroubleshoot tanker/ route issues with minimal guidance, and demonstrate mastery of fuel delivery methodsCapable of teaching new SPs about Booster's processes, procedures and technology.No active Booster safety violations on recordBehavioral attributes:Enthusiastic team player and performs the role above and beyond, acts as a mentor to SPIsOperates within Boosters values: safety, customer, integrity, excellence, bold & stewardshipNot sure if you meet the qualifications?
