Manufacturing Technician 1: Wheel PolisherJob DescriptionABBA Roller is seeking a Wheel Polisher - Level 1 to support manufacturing operations by polishing and finishing rubber and urethane wheels to meet customer specifications and quality standards.This is an entry-level manufacturing position, ideal for candidates with general machine experience, mechanical aptitude, or hands-on shop experience. Our culture emphasizes safety, teamwork, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate manual polishing and grinding lathes to finish rubber and urethane wheelsPerform polishing operations to achieve required surface finish and appearanceLoad and unload wheels using proper tools and lifting methodsFollow work instructions, travelers, and standard operating proceduresPerform visual inspections and basic dimensional checksMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaCommunicate production or quality issues to supervisionSupport daily production goals and schedulesAssist with basic equipment care and cleanlinessFollow all safety and quality requirementsPerform additional duties as assignedEducation & ExperienceHigh School diploma or GED requiredEntry-level to 1+ year manufacturing, machine, or shop experience preferredMechanical aptitude and willingness to learn requiredDesired SkillsAttention to detailGood hand-eye coordinationAbility to follow instructions and proceduresStrong work ethic and reliabilityTeam-oriented mindsetPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and manipulate up to 40 lbsAbility to stand and work on feet 8+ hours per shiftGood close-up and distance visionGrowth OpportunityThis role provides a clear development path to Wheel Polisher Level 2CNC Grinder, or other advanced manufacturing roles within ABBA Roller.Benefits:At ABBA Roller, we recognize how important your career and benefits are to you and your family.
