Structural Engineer
Our client, an industry leader in infrastructure and industrial development, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Structural Engineer to join their team. As a Structural Engineer, you will be an integral part of the engineering department supporting multidisciplinary project teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit, which will enable success within the organization.Job Title: Structural EngineerLocation:Long Beach, CaliforniaPay Range:$120,000 - $150,000What's the Job?Develop conceptual and detailed structural designs for industrial projects including Oil & Gas facilities, manufacturing plants, and power infrastructure. Prepare structural calculations and analyses in compliance with applicable codes such as ASCE 7, IBC, and IEEE standards. Create and review drawings, sketches, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and other engineering software. Conduct site visits, field assessments, and review existing conditions to inform design solutions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively. What's Needed?Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Minimum of 8 years of relevant structural engineering experience. Professional Engineer (PE) license required; California PE license preferred. Proficiency with structural design software such as RISA-3D, RAM Connection, and AutoCAD. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and within teams.
