The Senior Relationship Banker will recommend or refer retail consumer and business products and services to prospective and existing clients and develop and maintain internal partner relationships to maximize relationship expansion. This position achieves sales standards through outbound calling, outside prospecting and expanding relationships with existing clients in the branch. Based on branch needs, this position may spend a portion of time handling cash transactions.Role and ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience:Provideexceptional service that aligns with or exceeds the bank's Six DiamondExperience standards in customer service.Promoteand expand client relationships by effectively utilizing client needsassessment tools to identify and address client needs.Accuratelyobtain required new account documentation, input data, and prepare necessaryclient paperwork for the sale of products and services.Resolveclient issues and handle client requests in a timely, consistent, andprofessional manner. Relationship Building: Explain,promote, and refer Fremont Bank products and services to current andprospective clients.Meetassigned sales and referral objectives and contribute towards branch goals,including referring customers to business partners when applicable.Maintainaccurate performance records and pipeline activities; regularly reviewperformance results with Branch Management.Conductinternal and prospective client telemarketing and follow-up duties as assignedby management.Regularlyparticipate in outside business development activities, including individualand collaborative in-person business cold calling, as well as applicablecommunity-based business networking events.Understandand accurately communicate consumer and business deposit and lending products.Recommendand submit small business lending products and applications, includingsupporting documentation for lending relationship expansion.Open new accounts and service existing accounts, includingbusiness customers Operations: Followand explain bank policies and procedures as directed by management.Conductcash handling and other deposit or payment-related transactions as needed.Ensurecompliance with applicable State and Federal regulations and laws.Performall operational duties with accuracy, attention to detail, and proper cashhandling.Performmiscellaneous operational tasks as assigned by the supervisor, includingopening and closing the branch.Assistwith daily operational duties, including but not limited to tellertransactions, branch cash balancing, reviewing and processing of Non-SufficientFund (NSF) items, and processing night deposits and cash shipments.Activelyprepare for and participate in branch meetings and training workshops.Stayinformed of job-related issues, bank promotions, and changes in products,services, policies, or procedures; actively participate in industry-relatedseminars and training classes.Staycurrent on business-related activities in other areas of the bank.Maintaina flexible work schedule, including weekends.Performother additional duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications4years of sales and customer service experience in a customer-facing bankingenvironment with previous new consumer and business account openingresponsibilities or equivalent preferred.SigningAuthority preferred.Provensuccess in building relationships with clients and achieving banking sales andlending objectives.Knowledgeablein small business deposit and lending products.Provensuccess in small business lending, as well as prospecting and cold calling newoutside business opportunities.Knowledgeof bank products and services and effective sales techniques.Understandingof banking regulatory compliance issues.Excellentlistening and presentation skills.Minimum1 year of cash handling experience recommended.Abilityto lift at least 25 lbs.Basiccomputer literacy, including proficiency in a Windows-based environment andMicrosoft Office.Strongtime management and organizational skills.Sufficientvision and hearing to interact with clients over the phone and in person.Clearand understandable verbal communication.Abilityto walk and stand for outside business development activities.Willingnessto perform telemarketing duties as assigned.Excellentverbal and written communication skills.Professionalappearance is required.Highschool diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
