Concrete Mason/Slab Mason

Job Description SeaState Land Services is looking to hire 6 skilled slab masons who are familiar with residential construction in the Tampa/Sarasota area. A qualified candidate would need to have atleast 2 years of experience in residential concrete masonry and have reliable transportation to work. Below is a comprehensive list of skills and responsibilities that this position will require.Set forms and prepare sites for slab pours on residential and commercial projectsPlace, level, and finish concrete for slabs, sidewalks, driveways, and foundationsOperate hand and power tools (trowels, screeds, floats, etc.) safely and efficientlyRead and interpret blueprints and site plans to ensure accurate layout and dimensionsMonitor curing process and perform finishing work (edging, jointing, sealing)Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to company safety standardsCollaborate with crew members and assist with related site tasks as neededMinimum 2 years experience as a slab mason or concrete finisherProven ability to set forms, pour, and finish concrete slabs to a high standardExperience with both residential and commercial slab work preferredAbility to read construction plans and use masonry/concrete toolsReliable transportation to job sites (required)Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors, and stand for long periodsStrong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality
