The project duration is anticipated to be 4 months, and all resources will work onsite at the project location in Covington, Virginia.The County is undertaking a critical initiative focused on website redesign, ADA compliance modernization, infrastructure transition, and improved digital citizen engagement. This initiative is highly visible and directly impacts public accessibility, user experience, transparency, and service delivery for county residents and stakeholders.The Project Manager will serve as the overall delivery lead and trusted technology advisor for the County, ensuring successful execution across planning, implementation, migration, training, go-live, and post-launch support. Since the County currently has limited internal IT support, this role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and hands-on coordination abilities to guide the project from initiation through completion.The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing enterprise web transformation projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, overseeing infrastructure transitions, and ensuring compliance-driven delivery in government or public-sector environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end delivery of the website redesign and ADA compliance initiative.Manage overall project scope, schedules, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource coordination.Serve as the primary point of contact for County leadership, stakeholders, vendors, and project teams.Develop and maintain project plans, communication strategies, governance documentation, and executive status reports.Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, accessibility specialists, infrastructure teams, content managers, and training resources.Oversee hosting setup, infrastructure transition, DNS migration, deployment planning, and production go-live activities.Provide strategic guidance and IT advisory support due to the absence of a dedicated County IT team.Ensure all project activities align with ADA compliance standards, accessibility requirements, and best practices.Plan, organize, and coordinate onsite training sessions and knowledge transfer activities for County staff.Manage phased delivery approaches and prioritization strategies based on budget and funding constraints.Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies related to compliance, migration, SEO continuity, infrastructure, and timelines.Monitor project performance, quality assurance activities, issue resolution, and stakeholder satisfaction.Facilitate regular project meetings, steering committee discussions, status reviews, and executive presentations.Ensure successful project closure, documentation handoff, and post-launch stabilization support.Required Skills & Experience7+ years of experience managing enterprise web, digital transformation, or modernization projects.Proven experience delivering end-to-end solutions including infrastructure migration and hosting transitions.Strong experience managing website redesign, CMS implementation, digital accessibility, or public-facing web platforms.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, especially within government or public-sector environments.Experience leading hybrid delivery teams across onsite and remote work models.Strong understanding of project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches.Experience managing vendor coordination, project budgets, timelines, and delivery governance.Knowledge of ADA compliance, WCAG standards, SEO continuity, DNS migration, and website deployment processes.Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while maintaining delivery quality and timelines.Strong leadership, problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making capabilities.Experience preparing executive-level reports, dashboards, and project presentations.Preferred QualificationsPMP, Scrum Master, Agile, or equivalent Project Management certifications preferred.Experience managing projects for County, State, Federal, or Public Sector organizations.Familiarity with website accessibility compliance initiatives and digital modernization programs.Prior experience supporting citizen-facing platforms and public information systems.Technical understanding of hosting environments, cloud platforms, CMS systems, and website infrastructure.Why Join This Project?Lead a high-impact government digital modernization initiative.Work directly with County leadership on a mission-critical transformation project.Opportunity to drive accessibility, citizen engagement, and modernization efforts.Exposure to enterprise-level web transformation, compliance initiatives, and infrastructure transition projects.Collaborative onsite environment with strong visibility and decision-making responsibility._______________________________________V Group Inc. is an IT Services company which supplies IT staffing, project management, and delivery services in software, network, help desk and all IT areas.
