Software Developer Job Summary: Reporting to the DevOps Manager, this position is responsible for building, enhancing, and supporting full-stack business applications within an established technical roadmap and architectural framework. As part of the growing DevOps team, the successful candidate will develop scalable solutions that support operational workflows, case management, reporting, and other core business processes. Technology Stack & Environment: MC Consultants develops and supports applications using Flutter, C#/.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, REST APIs, Git, and Azure DevOps within a Microsoft 365 and Windows-based enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities: Work under the direction of the DevOps Manager to gather requirements, prioritize development efforts, and deliver application features aligned with business objectives. Translate business and technical requirements into reliable, user-friendly software solutions. Implement and maintain application features across frontend and backend systems based on established architecture and business requirements. Ensure application performance, security, reliability, and resilience across the full stack. Monitor and optimize application and database performance, including query tuning and front-end performance enhancements. Support the stability, reliability, and ongoing operation of business applications, including participation in production support and on-call rotations as needed. Required Qualifications: · 5+ years of professional software development experience. · Front-end and back-end development experience. · Experience developing and supporting production software systems. · Experience developing clean, maintainable, object-oriented applications. · Experience working with SQL databases and relational data structures. · Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. · Experience using Git or similar version control systems. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with C#/.NET or Python application development. Experience with Flutter or similar cross-platform frameworks. Experience with Microsoft Azure services and Azure DevOps. · Experience developing and/or consuming REST APIs. · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; professional certifications, open-source contributions, or portfolio projects are a plus. Compensation: Compensation is based on skills, experience, and location. For candidates based in Carlsbad, CA, the anticipated range is $110,000 - $130,000. Work Arrangement: Hybrid during the initial onboarding period. Full remote may be considered after approximately 90 days based on successful onboarding, business needs, and role alignment. Standard Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST. This is a salaried exempt position. Occasional work outside standard business hours may be required to support deployments, maintenance activities, and production support responsibilities.
