The project TECKpert seeks to hire a Power BI Developer to support our client, a government agency based in Tallahassee, FL.As a Power BI developer with expertise in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), your primary jobduties are to assist our client in developing Power BI dashboards and supporting data analysis processes. This position involves designing and optimizing data models, crafting insightful visualizations, and integrating data from diverse sources to support decision-making. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights. Create and optimize DAX formulas for advanced calculations and data manipulation. Develop data models ensuring efficient data retrieval and analysis. Integrate data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs. Implement data security and governance protocols to safeguard sensitive information. Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and deliver solutions. Validate and cleanse data to maintain data accuracy and integrity. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data connections and report performance. Compensation and Term This opportunity is for a full-time contract position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $52/hour or $108,000 per year. Qualifications you need A successful Power BI Developer possesses or provides the following Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Power BI development, DAX, and data modeling. Proven expertise in data visualization, report design, and dashboard creation. Strong understanding of data integration techniques and tools. Proficiency in optimizing Power BI performance and handling complex datasets. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Certifications in Microsoft Power BI, Dynamics 365, or related technologies. Experience with data governance frameworks and performance optimization strategies.
