Web Content Accessibility Analyst

Our client is seeking to hire a Web Accessibility Analyst to conduct reviews for adherence with the client's Digital Standards for Websites and Applications, which include standards for branding and digital accessibility.Tasks· Conduct reviews of websites and applications and documents for adherence with the Agency's Digital Standards for Websites and Applications· Test for digital accessibility using manual and automated tools including screen reader and other assistive technology· Review for adherence with additional standards including branding· Perform testing on desktop and mobile devices· Thoroughly document review results· Provide results to application support teams and stakeholders and meet with teams to explain results· Work closely with team members to ensure processes are followed and optimized· Other duties as assignedNOTE: Candidates MUST be local to the Lansing, Michigan area (within 90 miles) at time of submission. Relocation not allowed. This position will require in-office work on Tuesday and Wednesday each week, with the ability to work remote Monday, Thursday and Friday. In office days are mandatory and cannot be altered.Location: Lansing, MIContract: 2+ yearSkills Required:· 1+ years - Experience testing applications for digital accessibility· 1 year - Experience working with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)· Advanced knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA· Advanced skills using assistive technologies like JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack· Associate's degree or Some collegeSkills Desired – A plus to have:· 3+ years - Experience testing applications for digital accessibility· Previous government experience· Certification related to WCAG*** Rate depends on experience*** Candidates authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.
