Network Operations Engineer – NOC / TechOpsLocation: Scottsdale, AZWork Environment: 100% OnsitePay: $54.34/hourSchedule: Full-time, 24/7 operationsContract: Through September 10, 2026Weekend/Holiday: Must be available for at least one weekend day every week and scheduled holiday coverage.A leading autonomous mobility company is building a 24/7 Network Operations Center in Scottsdale, AZ and is looking for Network Operations Engineers to monitor and support the critical infrastructure behind live autonomous vehicle operations.This is a hands-on NOC / TechOps / Infrastructure Operations role focused on real-time monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, escalation, and service reliability.What You'll DoMonitor enterprise networks, cloud infrastructure, databases, DNS, authentication services, and other critical systems.Provide 24/7 "eyes on glass" monitoring for live services supporting autonomous vehicle operations.Acknowledge, investigate, and triage alerts and incidents.Troubleshoot infrastructure and network issues and determine appropriate escalation paths.Participate in incident escalation calls and support root-cause investigations.Work closely with SRE and engineering teams to identify recurring issues and improve system reliability.Follow established incident management procedures, SLAs, and escalation processes.Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and escalations.Prepare clear shift handoffs and service-status reports.Participate in incident retrospectives and recommend operational improvements.Required Experience5+ years of experience in a NOC, SOC, TechOps, Network Operations, Infrastructure Operations, or similar structured environment.Experience with incident management, alert triage, escalation procedures, and SLAs.Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, authentication services, SSL/TLS, and general networking.Experience monitoring enterprise networks and cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS or GCP.Experience with monitoring/observability platforms such as Grafana, Datadog, Kentik, LogicMonitor, or similar.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to remain calm and effective during high-pressure incidents.Basic scripting experience with Python or Bash is preferred.Linux fundamentals are preferred.Experience with ServiceNow, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, Jira, or similar is preferred.ITIL, Network+, Security+, CCNA, JNCIA, or similar certifications are a plus.Important Schedule RequirementThis is a 100% onsite Scottsdale position supporting 24/7 operations.Candidates must be willing to work an assigned Day, Swing, or Overnight shift, with at least one weekend day every week and holiday coverage as scheduled.U.S. work authorization required.
