Location: Hybrid at Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong experience in enterprise application development, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with application development, system design, and building highly scalable and resilient solutions.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaSpring Boot and MicroservicesREST APIs / API development
- Apache Kafka
- CassandraAWS / Cloud-native development
- Experience with AI application development or integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications
- Strong application and system design experience
- Enterprise-scale software engineering experience
- Strong understanding of SDLC and software engineering best practices
- Experience with CI/CDKnowledge of resiliency, scalability, and application security
- Ability to design and develop reliable, high-performance distributed applications
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot, along with hands-on experience designing and developing microservices-based applications in large enterprise environments. Experience working with Kafka, Cassandra, AWS, and modern AI-enabled applications will be highly valuable.
