R.J. Corman’s My Old Kentucky Dinner Train in Bardstown is seeking a friendly, motivated Gift Shop Clerk to provide exceptional customer service to guests while supporting daily retail and depot operations. This role combines retail sales, guest interaction, and operational support in a unique and historic setting.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform clerk duties, including checking guests in and assisting with boardingProcess sales transactions (cash and credit), assist customers with product selection, bagging, wrapping, and paymentsMaintain gift shop cleanliness and ensure merchandise is properly stockedMonitor, record, and report gift shop inventoryCreate visually appealing merchandise displays to enhance the customer experienceAssist reservation staff with duties as neededQualifications & RequirementsSpecialized Knowledge / SkillsPrior cash handling and customer service experience preferredStrong communication skills with an enthusiasm for sales and guest interactionSelf-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty, and strong work ethicAbility and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysBenefitsR.J.
