Job Description Job Title: Mental Health Counselor/therapist – Children, Families, Couple, and IndividualCompany: Growth and Transitions Mental Health Counseling and ConsultationLocation: Frederick, COJob Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Counselor, or Social Worker to join our team. The clinician will provide individual, couples, and family therapy services to clients of all ages with a primary focus on children.Growth and Transitions Mental Health Counseling and Consultation is a small private practice where the clinician can control their schedule and availability. There are part-time and full-time options available and health insurance and paid time-off for full-time employees. The majority of clients at this location are seeking in-person sessions. Therefore, the ideal candidate would need to work either solely at the office or hybrid based on client need.At Growth and Transitions Mental Health Counseling and Consultation we believe in change and client autonomy. Please submit your resume/CV now.Responsibilities:Provide individual, couples, and family therapy services to clients of all agesConduct assessments and develop treatment plansWork with clients to develop coping skills and address mental health challengesCollaborate with other mental health professionals and community resourcesMaintain accurate and up-to-date client recordsFollow ethical and legal requirements of the professionUtilize trauma-informed practicesUse evidenced-based treatment theory and modalitiesQualifications:Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related fieldLicensed to practice in the stated of Colorado and carry malpractice insuranceExperience working with families, couples, and childrenStrong clinical skills and knowledge of mental health issuesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamIdeally certified or trained in art, play, and/or other evidenced-based practices for childrenCompensation and Benefits:Percentage of income per appointment based on experience and PT/FT hoursPaid holidays for FT employeesAccrued sick pay up to 48 hoursHealth insurance for FT employeesAdditional Information:We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
