In this role, you will address common maintenance issues across multiple properties, performing repairs and installations as well as recommending subcontractors for serious infrastructural projects. You must be able to address a host of common property issues, such as electrical, plumbing, and heating. Our ideal candidate has several years of professional experience in property management and maintenance, along with reliable transportation and a flexible schedule to respond to emergencies as they arise.Property Maintenance Technician Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and scheduled maintenance across multiple propertiesPerform repairs, installations of fixtures and appliances, and replacement of damaged systemsDiagnose and repair problems with building heat, electricity, and water systemsLocate competitive subcontractors for major projectsBe on-call to respond to emergency issuesQualificationsHigh school diploma/GED or equivalentAt least 2 years of maintenance experienceKnowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systemsAdvanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniquesAvailable to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekendsExcellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
